Hello, I'm Logan Prichard, the founder and creative mind behind The Giant Woodworks. Our story began in 2022 in the heart of South Carolina. From the beginning, my love for nature has been the driving force behind every project I've undertaken. I've always been fascinated by the sheer beauty and intricacy of nature, which sparked my interest in woodworking. In my early stages, I devoted myself to years of research and study to ensure that my creations surpass ordinary wooden objects. My goal is to use nature to create unique and beautiful artistic expressions that are close to my heart.
Every detail, from the grain of the wood to the shadows of each curve, is thoughtfully combined to capture nature's true beauty with an artistic flair. My path hasn't been without its challenges, though. Living with postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS) since a young age has reshaped my journey in unexpected ways. Despite initially planning a career in the USMC and undergoing nearly a year of rigorous training, I had to reroute my path at 19 due to my illness. It was a difficult decision, but one that ultimately led me to discover a new sense of purpose and passion.
Woodworking became more than just a hobby; it became a form of therapy—a way for me to channel my energy and creativity while navigating the challenges of my illness. Through the highs and lows, woodworking has been my constant companion, offering solace and a sense of fulfillment truly like nothing else. Each piece I create tells a story—a story of resilience, determination, and the unwavering pursuit of passion.
I'm incredibly proud of what we've accomplished here at The Giant Woodworks, but the journey has only just started. As we continue to grow and evolve, my commitment to crafting unique and artistic creations remains unwavering.
